Wonthaggi Area Shore

Harmer's Haven & Wreck Beach
These are two good places for surf and rock fishing.
They are adjacent to each other and easy to find by following the signs.

Baxter's Beach & Williamson's Beach
Two very popular fishing spots (Salmon, Mullet)Powlett River
Approx 12 kms. from Wonthaggi towards Kilcunda.
Good fishing at the mouth (bream, Perch, Mullet, Salmon). Surf fishing at night also (Gummy & School Sharks)

Cape Paterson Shore
Undertow BayBetween the rocky promontory in front of the Royal Wonthaggi Life Saving Club, and the rock platform under the Bunurong cliffs (Mullet, Salmon)

Bay Beach & Brown's Bay
Fishing from the rocks (Whiting, Pinky Snapper)

Second Surf Beach
If you fish here make sure you do not get near the surfers (Mullet)
